Gift Ideas – Not Just for Christmas!

Would you believe I started to write this post back in 2019 and then just…didn’t?

And boy howdy, a whole LOT has happened in the world since then. I don’t even need to explain any of that nonsense, yeah? (The COVID-19 pandemic, the world in chaos for various reasons, etc.) Not to mention I’ve already missed the cutoff for Christmas shipping for 2023; no matter, this applies to year-round gift-giving anyway!

This post is intended to direct you, dear reader, toward gift ideas that come from yours truly, Jill of JillthePill Design. Everything you find here has been designed by me – that is, the designs themselves, I haven’t actually made all the “blanks” the designs are printed on. Carrying on…

Currently Available Print-on-Demand Gift Ideas

I’m in the process of expanding my offerings to other platforms and revising current designs, so I’ll just give you a short rundown here until new designs and collections come out.

By the way, if you want a quick and dirty explanation of what “Print on Demand” means, I cover that here.

I have designs on a few sites (with a couple more to come as I diversify my brand): Redbubble, Society6, and Zazzle. I’ve been branching out with some collections especially for spoonies (chronic illness awareness), neurodivergent folks (covering ADHD, AuDHD, Autism, and the spectrum of disorders), and the LGBTQIA+ community (I’m an ally who strongly supports my friends and acquaintances).

Please check out all these collections and more – remember, you’re helping to support an independent artist who enjoys creating these designs for the world and would love to see lots of people wearing and displaying them. 🙂

All of these sites regularly offer customer discounts (although the best are usually found at Christmastime, haha), so check them out for fantastic savings on the most popular products with an ever-expanding range of designs.

Looking for representation and acceptance as a neurodivergent person? I’ve got you covered with this growing collection!

The Mountain's Out T-Shirt on Redbubble
One of my most popular designs on Redbubble – the infamous “The Mountain’s Out” T-Shirt. (If you know, you know.) Also available on a variety of other products, including stickers, pillows, and blankets!

You’ll find several great gift ideas for Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Long COVID, and other invisible illnesses in the “Spoonie” collection on Zazzle.

Products by JillthePill Design found on Society6.

A selection of cute items from Society6 – they have tote bags, prints, mugs, and more!

Handmade Gift Ideas

I’m going to hold off on recommending handmade items – my Etsy shop is on pause while I reorganize my crafty bits and pieces. I’m not super excited about some of the changes they made to the site regarding fees as well, but won’t write them off completely just yet, because it may come in handy to purge some of my stashes, supplies, and inventory when I’m ready. 😉

Thanks for tuning in, and please check back to see if I’ve added any exciting developments to this blog! I’ll try my best to do that more moving forward. Being an artist and freelancer is a busy life, after all. -Jill 🙂

The Best of Intentions…

Hi There and Hello!

I’ve been meaning to write something insightful to put more personality behind this site for quite awhile – I suppose now is as good a time as any!

So, hi, I’m Jill, aka Jill the Pill, the brains and brawn behind these operations. I welcome any and all who are reading this and hope you’ll be patient as I flesh out more of the content on here. I have a million ideas running through my mind at any given time, and I know I’ll never catch up with them all. Being an artist has its blessings, but also less-than-desirable traits such as endless brainstorms, spontaneous bursts of creativity, and absentmindedness. 😀

Balancing Creative Endeavors

While you await my next move, please check out the creative content I’ve made up to this point. For the time being, that covers handmade creations and print-on-demand designs. I promise there is a HUGE backlog of art with many more designs waiting in the wings. I’ll never run out of ideas, so if you stick around, you won’t be disappointed!

I also work on freelance writing projects such as product descriptions, landing pages, and sales & marketing copy for businesses small and large, so if that’s more your thing and you need some copy written (and/or designed – I do both), do get in touch!

A Quick Peek at My Work

If you want a juicy preview of recent work I’ve done, Instagram is a good place to start! Or, why not take a look at this wall art you can snag over on Society6 featuring one of my recent paintings, Peacock Masquerade!
